Timothy Dixon is an ex-Georgia Basketball player who was arrested in connection with the shooting of Gabriel Allen of Atlanta in LA Fitness center. According to Gwinnettdaily, he is charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm While a Felony.
According to the reports, police responded to a shots-fired complaint in the parking lot at 5295 Stone Mountain Highway shortly after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
When they arrived, they discovered Gabriel Allen, who was lifeless after two gunshot wounds at the gym's entrance. Hideshi Valle, the gym's public relations officer, stated that the two had a fight during a basketball game, which resulted in the shooting.
"During the inquiry, police discovered that Dixon and Allen had a verbal dispute during a basketball game, which led to the shooting," Hideshi added.
According to authorities, one of the males went out into the parking lot, and the other followed him out. Dixon then shot Allen, escalating the tension.
According to authorities, Allen is still in the hospital recuperating. His current state is unknown.
